Renewal and Reinstatement

Continuing education allows all candidates the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to assure they have met current professional standards and qualifications required to maintain certification.
The purpose of continuing education, or employment in the field, is to maintain your high level of training and certification.
Renewal
Professional Workshops, Seminars, and educational activities can earn the credits needed to recertify. If you attend any professional medical seminars please submit documentation with your application along with any certificates of attendance, transcripts, and any official statements that verify attendance at CE activities.
Certification Renewal Process
- Certification Renewal Exam (5 Attempts)
- Access to National Board of Healthcare Professional
- Provide employment verification
- 1 month Access to complete Exam
How does this work?
- Register below and take your 25 question renewal exam and receive your certification.
- Register below and make your payment. You will receive an email before the end of the day with a link to start your exam.
- You will be able to login and take your exam at any time. You will have 1 month access
- Upon completion candidates will Receive a pdf copy of their certification within 24 hours, your employer will be able to verify your credentials
After completing payment all NBHP Members, please send email to cert@nationalbhp.com with certification number and current address
Reinstatement
Individuals that have not renew their certificate by the due date have to reinstated. Expired certificates of 3 years seeking reinstatement of their NBHP credential must submit:
- Reinstatement fee of $200.00
- Copy of current CPR card
- Agree to comply with NBHP Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Purchase and complete recertification exam
