To qualify for the NBHP PCT Certification Exam, candidates must meet one of the following:

Experience Pathway – At least one year of experience performing both venipuncture and dermal punctures.

→ Employer must complete and sign the Verification of Experience Form.

Education Pathway – Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program within the last three years.

→ Submit a copy of your training certificate or diploma.

• Exam Type: Online, proctored in-person at our testing location
   
• Cost: $115.00
   
• Certification Validity: 2 years
   
• Results:  If a candidate obtains a passing score, their high-resolution, printable digital certificate will be attached to the email. The NBHP does not print and mail physical copies of certificates. You can order a badge
   
•  Badge: If you order a badge they are mailed within 7-10 days
