The Instructor Certification is designed for qualified healthcare professionals who wish to teach and train future phlebotomy technicians.
This certification recognizes individuals with advanced experience, professional integrity, and the ability to provide high-quality instruction aligned with NBHP standards.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the NBHP Instructor Certification, candidates must meet all of the following:
Hold a current certifications in there discipline, LPN, RN, or other licensed healthcare professional credential issued by NBHP or another nationally recognized organization.
Have at least 2 years of verifiable experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Provide proof of instructional or supervisory experience (teaching, training, or mentoring in a clinical or educational setting).
Submit a education, certifications, and professional work experience.
Include a class syllabus or course outline is required
Upload a copy of your current certification(s) and a government-issued photo ID.

Await approval email within 3–5 business days
NBHP proudly partners with schools, training centers, and healthcare organizations to ensure their programs meet national certification standards.
Organizations interested in becoming an official NBHP Testing Site may submit their curriculum for evaluation. Once approved, your organization will receive National Training Site Recognition, authorizing your location to host NBHP certification examinations.
Upon approval, candidates will receive:
NBHP Instructor Certificate (PDF)
Instructor Photo Badge (by mail)
