The National Board of Healthcare Professionals (NBHP) is a voluntary, non-governmental, independent national certification organization.
We offer certification to healthcare professionals through industry-aligned exams that validate knowledge and competency in the field.
NBHP is a proud member of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), reflecting our commitment to professional standards in certification.
Certification examinations for the following healthcare professionals
Phlebotomy Technician
Have completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or at least one year of phlebotomy experience . Must have documented proof of of work experience from employer.
Phlebotomy Instructor
*At least two years work with documented experience in performing phlebotomy . Must be a CPT, LPN, CMA, or other healthcare professional
*Must have lectures and clinical skills - phlebotomy teaching experience.
* Submit documentation of completing
* Provide detailed syllabus or course outline is required.
Patient Care Technician
*Candidate must have CNA to sit for this exam.
*Have work experience performing phlebotomy, and ECG.
ECG Technician
Have completion of an accredited ecg training or at least one year of experience .
Must have documented proof of of work experience from employer.
